How First Move Works
You do not need to know what area of law applies before contacting First Move. Begin by telling us what happened, what you are considering doing, or what decision you are facing.
Tell us what is happening in your own words. If a lawsuit already exists, provide the court, case number, location, and any known hearings or deadlines so the matter can be evaluated efficiently.
First Move reviews the basic information, considers conflicts and urgency, and determines whether an initial consultation is appropriate.
The consultation focuses on understanding the situation, identifying issues, considering options, and determining what additional information—if any—is needed.
The next step may be advice only, additional analysis, negotiation, representation by First Move, specialized outside counsel, another professional resource, or no immediate legal action.
Clients who prefer continuing access may choose an optional Primary/Concierge Counsel relationship. It is not required to use First Move for an individual matter.
